Privacy Policy
QuoteTop is designed to help contractors create and manage professional estimates. Your privacy is important, and QuoteTop is designed to keep your estimating data on your device whenever possible.
1. Information You Enter
QuoteTop may store customer names, contact details, job addresses, estimate details, work descriptions, quantities, pricing, tax information, Business Profile information, job photos, business logos, internal notes, and other information you choose to add. In the current version, this information is stored locally on your device. QuoteTop does not automatically upload it to a QuoteTop server.
2. Photos
QuoteTop may request camera and photo library access so you can add job photos or a business logo. Selecting a photo may create a local copy for use inside the app. Removing a photo from QuoteTop does not delete the original from your Apple Photos library. Photos marked for internal use are not included in customer-facing estimate PDFs.
3. PDF Estimates and Sharing
QuoteTop can generate PDF estimates using information you provide. Generated PDFs may be temporarily stored on your device. When you choose to share an estimate, QuoteTop uses device sharing features. Information is sent to another person or service only when you choose a destination and initiate sharing. Third-party services have their own privacy policies.
4. Analytics, Advertising and Tracking
The current version does not include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics services. QuoteTop does not sell personal or customer information.
5. Accounts and Cloud Storage
The current version does not require a QuoteTop account and does not provide QuoteTop-operated cloud synchronization or cloud backup. Data is primarily stored locally on your device.
6. Data Loss and Device Backups
Deleting the app, losing or replacing your device, resetting it, or other device or storage failures may result in loss of QuoteTop data. Device-level backups provided by Apple may operate independently of QuoteTop, and QuoteTop does not guarantee recovery from those backups.
7. Your Customers' Information
If you enter information about customers or other individuals, you are responsible for having appropriate authority to collect, store, use, and share it.
8. Data Deletion
QuoteTop provides controls for deleting certain locally stored customers, estimates, photos, and related information. Deleting an item does not necessarily delete information previously exported, shared, saved elsewhere, or provided to third-party services.
9. Children's Privacy
QuoteTop is intended as a contractor and business productivity tool and is not designed for use by children.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as QuoteTop develops or introduces new features. Material changes to how information is handled should be reflected in an updated policy.
